rusting
I bought these(in 2020 not uses very much) and says they are stainless steel but are rusting sitting in van on shelf. Stainless steel in not suppose to rust ever.
A must have for professional glass cleaners
The Triumph 6" blades are a regular item in my window cleaning arsenal. I have tried other scrapers, but I'll be sticking with Triumph for the coverage it gives to be able to clean quickly and the ability to use their scrapers on a pole for harder to reach windows. I use these blades on the days when I don't know how much scraping I'll have to do. Unlike the carbon steel blades, these can get wet and not be rusted out the next morning. Make sure you know how to properly use a blade on glass and know how to avoid fabrication debris on tempered glass to avoid costly mistakes.
standard equipment in my truck. 14 years of experience.
Must have. Use wisely.
Used these for 15 years
The earlier blades ten years ago seemed to be slightly thicker and didn't split at the corners as quickly as these do. I've worked around this by clipping the corners before use which prevents the issue. They work fine otherwise, no rusting and quite sharp. Comform to uneven glass well.
Our scrapers are not used every day
We are very pleased with these blades. Because we do not use our window cleaning tools, including scrapers every day we would sometimes pick up our scrapers and find that the blades were rusted. This has not happened again once we switched to the stainless blades. Service from ABC is great too.
Are you kidding me?
Are you kidding me? You mean window cleaners are using other scraper brands. Why? Triumph scrapers are so much better than the rest it's not funny. Light, sturdy, ergonomic handle, easy to change the blades. Just remember to break off the corners of the blade so they don't catch on the edge of the window and the blade will last a long time.
Almost always perfect
I use these blades for my scraper exclusively. Mostly residential work. They almost always perform flawlessly. But every once in a while, I'll put a new blade in my scraper and it will leave lines of un-scraped glass behind. These lines are easily noticed when scraping fine overspray, and you can see the water trailing behind the blade. When this does happen, you can flip the tool over and still have problems. You can sometimes flip the blade over [to use the other scraping edge] and it will be fine, or sometimes not. These blades are usually flawless, but more than 2 out of a pack will display the problem mentioned above. But it's still worth the purchase to me to have Stainless blades since one will often last me a few weeks or more.
