poor construction

The idea is great, it just breaks where the tube is crimped to the cast insert. If this was replaced with a screw or rivet it would be much stronger. This is a heavy assembly especially at 30'. I ended up buying the plastic version and it has worked very well.

Functions well but is heavy and 1 did break

I have used these for various applications, and it works pretty well with the opti-loc poles to get over or in front of objects. However, 1 out of 2 did break under normal use by coming apart at the crimped connection. It is also a little heavy.
