MIO creates many pieces of window washing equipment for high rise buildings as well as other rope access gear. This rope grab is used as a part of a fall arrest system and ideal for any vertical ascending and descending. Rope attachment is straight forward and very secure using the push pin. The MIO rope grab has an integrated 3' shock absorbing lanyard that connects to your harness with a snap hook. Once placed on the rope, this rope grab will automatically brake at the place it was last placed. To descend, manually move the device by lifting the lanyard to release the lever (don't adjust the device by grabbing it directly!). In case of a fall, the gravity activated lever clamps down on the rope to bring you to a stop without damaging the rope itself.
