Description
STOP Descender Self-Braking
This special device automatically stops or considerably slows descent when handle is released; squeeze handle to descend normally, controlling speed with the other hand. Note: the handle should not be used as a means of controlling the descent speed. Works best with flexible, clean rope. With stiffer ropes friction is greatly reduced and "stop" feature may be impaired or inoperative.
